Pinellas County, Florida, still has lots of homes on the market, though
less than any other month this year. That doesn’t mean, however, that
the reduction in inventory is due to sales. Many property owners are tired
of having their homes on the market, unsold month after month, and have taken
them off the market to wait for a better time to sell. We’re still
advising our clients that if they don’t have to sell, this isn’t
a good time to put their home on the market – unless, of course, they
stand to make more on a new property than would by waiting to sell this one.
Based on data from the Pinellas Realtor Organization, here’s a chart
that shows activity over the last 90 days:
