Amy has been learning and developing information systems since getting her first home computer, a Radio Shack TRS-80 in 1981. When Amy joined the Team in 2004, she incorporated her customer service background into merging numerous databases and platforms into one integrated system for handling the growing information needs of the Simms Team. Dynamic, energetic and resourceful, Amy is our one-woman Research & Development Team, relentlessly pursuing any information needed to ensure a smooth transaction and superior service to our clients. Focusing on that crucial period between contract and closing, she keeps everything on track.

As Strategic Execution Officer, Amy also manages the Team’s web presence where "content is King" encapsulates the Team's approach to optimization. Her background in web design, customer service, tourism and business development training help keep a "user friendly" approach which complements and enhances, rather than dominates the Simms Team's communication and marketing efforts. As a licensed REALTOR®, she's the helpful voice at the office who can answer your questions and assist the Team while they are in the field working with buyers and sellers.

Since moving to St. Petersburg in 1976 from her birthplace of Portsmouth, Ohio, Amy has proudly watched her town "grow up" with her. And though her previous occupations have afforded her the opportunity to travel the country, her heart and home are in St. Petersburg where she loves to welcome new residents and introduce them to the local lifestyle. With a diploma from St. Petersburg High School's International Baccalaureate Program and a degree in International Business from Eckerd College, Amy's education continues with her current pursuit of her Florida Real Estate Broker's License. A foodie, audiophile and pop culture afficionado, Amy's tastes are eclectic and abundant but often the result of researching tangents. She may not always know the answer, but she'll find one for you.
